Roving Learners is a haven for kids (& their families) who struggle with social and behavior skills. We accept all kids regardless of behavior concerns preventing enrollment in other programs.

Roving LEarners
Roving Learners runs youth camps during major school breaks - Spring Break, Summer sessions 1 & 2.
- Spring Break Camp - March 16-20, 2026 - $450 ($400 Early Bird Special, enroll by February 15, 2026) - $100 deposit
- Summer Camp Session 1 - June 1-19, 2026 - $1,100 ($1,000 Early Bird Special, enroll by March 31, 2026) - $250 deposit
- Summer Camp Session 2 - July 13-31, 2026 - $1,100 ($1,000 Early Bird Special, enroll by March 31, 2026) - $250 deposit
Excursions
Excursions - the daily outings, adventures, learning - occur throughout central Austin. Campers build numerous skills & knowledge on the excursions, including:

Campers walk throughout the day, exploring the excursion area. The trail boss always has a plan in mind - but the campers really lead the direction of each excursion based on their interests and desires. No day is the same as any other. Plans are flexible. Excursions are outside every day - regardless of weather. There is no bad weather, just bad clothing choices.

Daily Drop off & Pick Up
Campers will be dropped off and picked up at a different central Austin location each day (see calendar below). Barton Springs Pool is one example, where we might hike, metal detect, swim, etc. The next day will be at the Central Library, where we might have reading time, play games, explore the area around the library, etc. Campers will bring a back pack, swim suit, walking shoes, hat, two water bottles, cold lunch and snack.
